Taking a flight over to Poland to visit my family three years ago was a perfectly normal thing to do. It was something that I did once a year every year; either during the summer or winter. Ever since the pandemic started, flying across to a different country is a very complicated matter because of the different policies in each country. I’m planning on flying over to Poland this coming January if everything goes well. Covid in Poland right now is very low and I’m hoping it stays the same so I can fly over to see family and friends. My family would love for us to fly over as soon as possible because it has been such a long time.
I feel like at this point in time, people just have to get back to living their lives. If some people don’t want to travel because they don’t feel safe doing so, that’s perfectly fine; that is your choice. But there are so many people who have been vaccinated, me included, who believe now it’s time to return back to ‘normality’ in a way. We can’t keep living in a bubble; it’s time for people to travel again; whether it be for pleasure or for family.
