There is a huge variety of animals all around the world but how do they work? What I mean by work is like asking how a human works. And when I say work I don’t literally mean humans going to work, to their jobs. I mean, how do they think and function? We know there’s a lot more to people than what we just see. People think, have their own thoughts and opinions on certain subjects. Animals don’t wake up and go to work for the day. Every day for them is about survival. A day for a zebra is very different to a day for a cheetah. A cheetah wakes up and has to look for food. A zebra wakes up and has to look for food as well but has to constantly be on the lookout for any predators, one being a cheetah. Yes, cheetah’s have to look out for their own predators but if anyone is waking up and getting hunted, it’s the zebra. Every animal has the same goal whenever they wake up; get food and avoid being the food. If I had to honestly identify myself with the zebra or the cheetah, I think I’d say I’m a cheetah. I think most people are zebras in their day to day lives.
We get up and go do what we have to do and most people work for someone; they have to do their work to please someone and that someone would be your boss. If you don’t please your boss, then you can get fired. If a zebra isn’t always ready at any point, then it could get caught and killed. It works the same for us in a way. I think animals have emotions, but not the same as humans. We have emotions like caring for our family members and our friends. I think animals have some form of that emotion but not the level of humans. Just look at buffalo for example. They usually travel in packs because they could get caught out easily if they travel themselves. The adult buffalos surround the young buffalo while traveling because they know the younger ones are an easier target. Surrounding them makes them much harder to get to. I believe animals do have emotion but not to the level of humans' version of it.
